Save today, Save tomorrow, EDF Energy
This is the first time EDF Energy has ever aired a TVC. Which is part of a full scale multi-media advertising campaign that goes live on Sunday (6 January 2008) with this 60 sec TV advert made entirely from recycled film clips. The soundtrack featured in the advert, "It's Not Easy Being Green", has been adapted from the original version written by Joe Raposo for Sesame Street in 1970. In this case the song is used to highlight that while it may be difficult to change behaviour over night, it's up to all of us to become part of the solution in helping combat climate change.

@Alchoholica1 Best. Comment. Ever.
nuclear power is not the most environmentally damaging or expensive, every form of power production has its disadvantages and I'm sure if they said they were going to build a bunch of wind farms near you you would moan then or if they had to destroy marine habitats for wave power you would bitch and moan still. If you are going to preach on youtube try and make sure you know what your talking about and at least back it up with some reputable evidence.
i put lyrics cos the singing pronunciation is weak part way thru:
It's not that easy being green;
Having to spend each day the colour of the leaves.
When I think it could be nicer being red, or yellow or gold...
or something much more colourful like that.
But green's the colour of Spring.
And green can be cool and friendly-like
(..green can be cool and friendly-like)
it's beautiful! And I think it's what I want to be.
I've uploaded the song onto my page if you want to hear it, it's by '2 different people'
who sings this?
save today , save tomorrow by shutting down all edf's nuclear reactors and not building any new nuclear reactors. Nuclear energy is the most expensive and environmentally damaging way to produce power.
IF NUCLEAR POWER CAN MAKE THE HULK REAL, THEN I SUPPORT NUCLEAR POWER
Free Energy is real and its here! The Oil companies are doing everything they can to stop these
information. If you want a Free energy machine do a search in youtube for the LT MAGNET MOTOR , Join the
revolution!
Love this advert
Andrew Brown is an executive at EDF and we all know about his brother Gordon so he has had a good teacher with the lies about climate change

I seriously thought it said "Or global thermonuclear wipeout" the first time I heard this.
whats the song called?
@Perreaua on your own
EDF seem to be reducing carbon emmisions by making electricity VERY expensive
uuhlooking for a man that would give me some experience.
It is not a boys' choir, it was a gang of EDF meter readers who had their goolies shut in a vice for the duration of the recording.

Bein' green, originally sung by kermit the frog
I'm not going to comment on EDF the company, but they have a good advertising department. This is one the few adverts ever I was actually sorry to see go, it's a good song and a nice message.
It's by a boys voice choir, they made it direct for the advert and as far as I'm aware it's not avalible for download anywhere.
i love this song <3 does anyone know what it is ?
